Jeffrey Earnhardt Prepared for Joe Gibbs Racing and 2019 Season

Mooresville, N.C. (January 17, 2019). – Jeffrey Earnhardt enters the new year with laser focus and a thirst to get to Daytona.  “This offseason is really the first time I can recall that I’ve been able to prepare for a competitive ride” said the 4th generation driver.  “In years past we’ve had to piece together a lot of last minute deals and it’s pretty stressful.  Thanks to Xtreme Concepts I’ve been able to focus on prepping as a driver with simulator time, workouts and proper planning to race.  We’ve enjoyed some incredible time outdoors pursuing ducks and other game and now we’re all about maximizing the opportunity at Joe Gibbs Racing.”

Earnhardt will pilot the number 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Supra in Daytona during the NASCAR Xfinity Series Powershares QQQ 300 and has a total of 9 races with JGR.  “I’m beyond pumped to get to Daytona” said Jeffrey.  “Going to the JGR shop is honestly like a dream.  The people are top notch.  The facility is incredible and everything is geared around winning.  I’ve always had confidence in myself and now I’ll have an opportunity to give the Earnhardt fans something to cheer about.  They’ve supported me when it probably wasn’t easy (laughing).  But now we have the best of the best and I’m going to do everything I can to reward them for being in my corner.”

When asked about his plans for the rest of 2019 Earnhardt was quick to point out that all hands are on deck to maximize the season.  “We have some irons in the fire that will be exciting to share but that is something for another day” answered Earnhardt.  “For now I’m totally dialed in on Daytona and look forward to making Coach Gibbs and Xtreme Concepts proud.”
